An Auckland man with a long-standing schizo-affective disorder and entrenched delusions was placed under a compulsory in-patient treatment order, after the court found his release from psychiatric care led to a series of threatening emails — including ones addressed to then-Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and an Auckland synagogue.
