Home Invasion in Epsom Tied to MBI International Ponzi-Scheme Victim

Two men involved in a terrifying late-night home invasion in an affluent Auckland suburb say they were hired by a victim of the collapsed MBI International Holdings Ponzi-scheme to retrieve up to NZ$2 million. The court heard a four-man team broke into the five-million-dollar Epsom mansion, wearing masks and carrying crowbars.
